Role Overview:Sekrop Innovations is looking for an experienced Embedded Systems & Edge AI Engineer who can take ownership of hardware reliability, system integration, and edge AI deployment for field-grade production devices. This is not a lab-only role - the selected candidate will work on real-world deployments in demanding environmental conditions, including heat, dust, humidity, and intermittent connectivity.The engineer will be responsible for transforming prototype-stage hardware into research-grade, robust, field-ready systems capable of long-term autonomous operation. The role requires strong debugging capability, practical design thinking, and hands-on experience with embedded Linux systems and AI accelerators.Key Responsibilities:Lead embedded hardware stabilization and system hardening effortsOptimize Raspberry Pi Hailo AI accelerator integrationImprove PCB design, signal integrity, and power regulation systemsDesign thermal management solutions for high-temperature environmentsImplement watchdog systems, auto-recovery mechanisms, and fail-safe operationsOptimize battery management and solar charging systemsConduct root-cause failure analysis from field deploymentsSupport AI team in optimizing inference latency and edge performancePrepare systems for scalability and manufacturabilityRequired Skills:2 years of experience in embedded systems developmentStrong experience with Embedded Linux and ARM-based systemsHands-on debugging experience with hardware failuresExperience with power electronics and battery systemsExperience deploying AI models on edge hardwareProficiency in C/C and Python for hardware controlStrong understanding of system-level troubleshootingPreferred Skills (Good to Have):Experience with Hailo, NVIDIA Jetson, or similar AI acceleratorsExperience designing for outdoor or industrial environmentsKnowledge of EMI/EMC and environmental testing standardsExperience in PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, etc.)Prior work in IoT, robotics, or field-deployed systemsWhy Join Sekrop Innovations:This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, embedded systems, agriculture, and wildlife conservation.
