LOCATION – SHAM INSTITUTE DEPARTMENT – ACADEMIC EMPLOYMENT TYPE – FULL-TIME OVERVIEW SHAM INSTITUTE is seeking a passionate and skilled Computer Science Faculty to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality computer training based on the course curriculum. Applicants should possess strong knowledge of computer fundamentals and commonly used software applications. JOB SUMMARY The Computer Science Faculty will conduct classroom or online training sessions for students and help them build practical computer skills. Responsibilities include teaching computer basics, MS Office, internet usage, and specialized subjects depending on expertise. The role also involves preparing course materials, assessing students, and staying updated with new tools and technologies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Deliver effective classroom and online training sessions covering computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet usage, programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python), and other industry-relevant technologies. 2.Conduct practical lab sessions, coding exercises, and project-based learning to build strong hands-on skills. 3.Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, training materials, lab manuals, assignments, and assessment tools. 4.Guide students through academic projects, technical competitions, and real-world problem-solving activities. 5.Evaluate student performance, maintain training and attendance records, and provide personalized feedback and mentorship. 6.Stay updated with emerging software tools, teaching methodologies, and industry trends to continuously enhance training quality. 7.Collaborate with the academic department in curriculum development, workshops, assessments, and certification processes. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 1.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 2.Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., MS Office, Tally, Python) preferred. 3.Strong communication and presentation skills. 4.Patience, passion for teaching, and student-centered approach. 5.Proficiency in one or more of the following domains: a.MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) b.Internet and Email usage c.Programming Languages: Python, Java, C/C++ d.Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript e.Graphic Designing Tools: Photoshop, CorelDRAW PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1.Previous experience as a trainer or faculty member. 2.Experience with online teaching tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
