Digital Marketing Job Description A Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote a company’s products and services online. The goal is to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to the company website, and generate leads or sales. Here's a comprehensive overview of the role: Key Responsibilities: ● Develop digital marketing strategies for online channels (social media, email, website, search engines). ● Manage content creation for websites, blogs, social media, and other digital platforms. ● Analyze and report on performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics(GA4), SEMrush, Search Console etc.) to adjust campaigns and improve results. ● SEO Optimization: Implement search engine optimization techniques to increase organic search visibility and rankings. ● PPC Campaigns: Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) to drive traffic and maximize ROI. ● Social Media Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, engage with followers, and analyze engagement metrics. ● Email Marketing: Develop email campaigns that promote products/services, maintain customer relationships, and drive conversions. ● Collaborate with teams like design, sales, and product development to create cohesive marketing campaigns. Required Skills & Qualifications: ● Proven experience in digital marketing (2-3 years or more preferred). ● Knowledge of SEO, PPC, content marketing, and social media. ● Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and email marketing platforms. ● Strong understanding of analytics tools and how to interpret data. ● Creative thinking and the ability to come up with fresh marketing ideas. ● Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Preferred Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. ● Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or HubSpot is a plus. ● Knowledge of basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is beneficial.
