Description : Job Title : Lead Java Backend DeveloperExperience : 8+ YearsLocation : HyderabadWork Mode : Work From Office (WFO)Key Responsibilities : Architecture & System Design : - Architect and develop scalable, high-performance backend software for manufacturing test systems- Drive system-level design decisions, defining clear architecture, component boundaries, and interfaces- Design robust backend frameworks to support test execution, data collection, reporting, and system integration- Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainabilityFeature Ownership & Execution : - Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation to deployment and production support- Break down complex system features into well-defined, actionable tasks for the development team- Define technical requirements, APIs, data contracts, and acceptance criteria- Ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery aligned with product and manufacturing timelinesHands-on Development : - Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Java backend code- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices-based architectures- Design and implement multithreaded and concurrent systems for high-throughput environments- Apply strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms to solve complex system-level problems- Optimize backend services for performance, memory usage, and reliabilityTechnical Leadership & Mentorship : - Lead technical execution by guiding junior and mid-level engineers- Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and technical walkthroughs- Enforce best practices in coding standards, testing, documentation, and system design- Mentor team members to build strong backend and system software expertiseCross-Functional Collaboration : - Collaborate closely with manufacturing, hardware, validation, QA, and system engineering teams- Support integration of backend software with test hardware, automation frameworks, and external systems- Assist in debugging and resolving issues across multiple layers of the system- Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders to align software solutions with manufacturing needsMandatory Skills & Qualifications : Technical Skills : - 8 - 10 years of strong Java backend development experience- Deep expertise in Core Java- Proven experience as a Technical Lead / Feature Owner- Strong understanding of System Design and Backend ArchitectureHands-on experience with : - Multithreading & Concurrency- Data Structures & Algorithms- REST APIs & Microservices- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving abilities (ref:hirist.tech)
