Pharmacist – Hospital (200 Beds) Job Type: Full-time About Us We are a multispecialty hospital committed to delivering safe, affordable, and quality healthcare. To strengthen our clinical team, we are seeking a Pharmacist who will ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medicines, patient counseling, and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities • Dispense medicines to patients accurately against prescriptions. • Maintain stock of medicines, surgical items, and consumables in the hospital pharmacy. • Ensure proper storage, labelling, and handling of medicines, including cold chain maintenance. • Counsel patients regarding dosage, usage, side effects, and drug interactions when required. • Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff to ensure the timely availability of medications. • Handle purchase indents, billing, and inventory management using hospital software. • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and statutory regulations (Drug License norms, NABH standards). Skills & Competencies • Strong knowledge of medicines, dosage, and drug interactions. • Attention to detail with accuracy in dispensing. • Good communication and patient counseling skills. • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital Information System). • Ethical, reliable, and team-oriented professional attitude. Qualifications • D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institute • Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council. • Experience: 1–10 years in hospital/retail pharmacy preferred • Be part of a reputed 200-bedded multispecialty hospital. • Opportunity to work with experienced doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals. • Professional growth and training opportunities.
