• Position Summary
The Senior Human Resource Manager will be a strategic leader responsible for building and managing the entire HR function from the ground up for the new manufacturing facility in Bhopal.
The role requires strong experience in engineering/ manufacturing industries, preferably with exposure to heavy equipment, mining, metals, or high-technology industrial environments.
The incumbent will align HR strategy with business expansion plans, factory operations, R&D teams, regulatory compliance, and workforce planning.
• Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
2.1. Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with organizational goals and factory commissioning timelines.
2.2. Workforce planning for manufacturing, R&D, design, and operations.
2.3. Lead HR transformation for a growing technology-driven industrial organization.
2.4. Build HR systems, policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
• Factory Setup & Workforce Planning
3.1.
Plan manpower requirements for:
3.1.1.CRGO/CRNO processing including CTL machine operations and servicing
3.1.2.PGNAA and neutron-based equipment manufacturing
3.1.3.Mining & metals technology division
3.2. Develop recruitment roadmap for engineers, technicians, metallurgists, nuclear instrumentation experts, quality control, procurement, and plant operations.
3.3. Establish organizational structure and reporting frameworks.
• Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
4.1.
Lead end-to-end hiring strategy for:
4.1.1.Manufacturing and plant workforce
4.1.2.Design & R&D engineers
4.1.3.Field service and commissioning teams
4.1.4.Sales & technical business development (mining/metals sector)
4.2. Develop partnerships with technical institutes and engineering colleges.
4.3. Implement competency-based recruitment systems.
• Industrial Relations & Statutory Compliance
5.1.
Ensure full compliance with:
5.1.1.Factories Act
5.1.2.Labour Laws (Central & Madhya Pradesh State)
5.1.3.ESIC, EPF, Gratuity, Bonus Act
5.1.4.Contract Labour Act
5.2. Handle disciplinary procedures and grievance redressal.
5.3. Ensure health & safety HR integration for manufacturing and radiation-based equipment operations.

9.1. Establish professional, technology-driven work culture.
9.2. Promote ethical business practices aligned with industrial and nuclear technology standards.
9.3. Support change management during plant commissioning and scale-up phases.
• Candidate Profile
10.1. Education
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (Tier 1 or reputed institute preferred)
Law qualification (Labour Law specialization) – preferred
Additional certifications in Industrial Relations or HR Analytics – advantage
• Experience
–18+ years of progressive HR experience
11.2. Minimum 5 years in senior HR leadership role
11.3.
Experience in:
Engineering/manufacturing industry
Heavy equipment, mining, metals, or industrial automation
Factory setup or greenfield project (highly preferred)
11.4. Exposure to regulated technology environments (defense, nuclear, high-precision engineering) is a strong advantage.
