Assistant Manager (Projects & Maintenance)

Post: Asst. Manager(Projects & Maintenance) Job Description(Roles & Responsibilities): • Responsible for Implementation/ Execution of the manufacturing facility. • Installation & Commissioning of all Machinery, Equipments, Utilities, Piping, Mechanical, Engineering & preferably Electrification, Automation, etc. • Machineries: Reactors, Filter-Press, Resin-Columns, Nano-filtration, Spray Dryer, Centrifuge, RCVD, Condenser, Fermenters, Holding tanks/ Vessels, Auto-clave, motors/ pumps, etc. • Utilities: Boiler, MVR, ATFD, AHU/ HVAC, Chiller, Compressor, Cooling tower, RO, Fire, etc. • Planning and carrying out schedule/ routine maintenance of all machinery, utilities & ensure safety(5S) & as per GMP standards. Proactively develop systems to do so. • Ensure good working of all machineries at all times. Diagnosing faults. Give suggestions with Improvement in Machinery, its working & efficiency. • Responding to emergencies. • Keeping records & history of faults and maintenance. • Team Management & team Training. • Budgeting. Managing required Inventory. • Supervising contractors, engineering and technical team. • Creating & Maintenance Procedures & SOPs. DQ, IQ, PQ, OQ of all machineries & equipments. Candidate Profile: • Graduate/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. • Minimum 10 years working experience in Projects & Maintenance in API/ Bulk Drug/ or Chemical Industry only. • Experience with Installation & Commissioning of Utilities, Machineries, Piping, Fabrication, etc. • Good knowledge & understanding of engineering, mechanical & some knowledge of electrical. • Extremely proactive & initiative taker. • Physically fit, non-smoker,non-tobacco chewing. • Age: Preferably 35-45yrs, but not more than 45. Key Skills: • Excellent Implementation, Execution & Co-ordination skills. Ability to find solutions and get work done from contractors & team. • Knowledge, Proficiency & understanding of engineering, mechanical & preferably electrical. Maintenance & its documentation. • Leadership skills, to take initiatives, find solutions and complete the work. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Set targets and develop action plans. Outcomes/ Results Expected: • All machineries, equipments, utilities, etc., to be in very good working conditions at all times. • Minimum Breakdowns. Outcomes/ Results Expected: • All machineries, equipments, utilities, motors, pumps, piping, etc., to be installed as per standard safety protocols. • Very Good maintenance schedule. All of these to be in good in very good working conditions at all times with minimum break-downs.
