UK & International Account Manager
Stoneglow are a leading UK Candle and Home Fragrance manufacturer based in Romford, Essex. We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our Sales Department in Romford.
This role is primarily focused on UK & International Account Management for the Stoneglow brand, managing a portfolio of large-volume UK and international accounts. The core objective is to build, nurture and develop long-term client relationships, ensuring excellent service, sustainable growth and continued partnership success.
While identifying new opportunities within accounts is important, the main focus of the role is on retention, relationship development, and maximising the performance of existing customers.
About You
• Do you have 2–3 years’ experience in sales and account management within FMCG?
• Do you enjoy building strong, long-term client relationships?
• Are you organised, proactive and confident in managing key accounts?
• Are you friendly, approachable, hardworking and commercially aware?
Key Responsibilities
• Managing a portfolio of large-volume UK and international accounts, ensuring relationships are maintained and developed to a high standard.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering excellent day-to-day account support.
• Providing end-to-end customer service for orders, from placement through to despatch and post-delivery follow-up.
• Building strong, long-term partnerships through regular communication, meetings and account reviews (international travel may be required occasionally).
• Identifying opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts through range reviews, upselling and strategic planning.
• Keeping clients up to date with new product launches, promotions and brand developments.
• Attending UK and international trade shows to support and strengthen current client relationships.
• Resolving client issues or conflicts efficiently and professionally to maintain trust and satisfaction.
• Preparing detailed monthly sales and performance reports for management.
Requirements
• 2–3 years’ experience in B2B sales and account management (FMCG preferred).
• Proven experience managing and developing client accounts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercially aware, with a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities.
• Confident handling difficult conversations and resolving issues.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• UK driving licence and access to a car.
• A strong work ethic suited to a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Package
• Full-time role
• Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
• Basic salary £30,000 – £40,000 DOE
