Learn more at www.stradaglobal.com The Role As part of it’s continued growth within the Strada Kochi shared services division, Strada are now seeking a commercially minded Finance Specialist to join the R2R / controllership Finance team. This role will be an integral part of a finance team dedicated to providing support to our growing operations. This role will actively manage the Country/ Entity Finance by producing and presenting insightful analysis that supports book closure and decision making. The successful candidate must have the flexibility to deal with a wide range of client services. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting/ Controllership Responsibilities Ownership of legal entity Financial statements, ensuring adequate analysis and reviews, exercise judgment Perform Month end close accounting & reporting including variance analysis and preparation of supporting commentary Ownership of entity Balance Sheets, preparing balance sheet recons and identification and management of any potential risks Audit & Compliance - Managing Entity Audit - Internal & Statutory audit support and completion Review revenues, costs and profitability at client level and entity level operations Monitor & Report on performance against forecasts & budgets Identification of areas of risk, under-performance, improvement and opportunity and development of action plan to resolve Preparation, Review and analysis of regional budgets Ensure financial compliance with contracts Involvement in Reporting requirements including Variance Reporting, KPI Reporting, Cash flow analysis, P&L; and Balance sheet reviews Monitor Debtors, creditors and accrued and deferred income Supporting on-site business teams ( Accounts Executives, Accounts Directors, Finance Managers and Directors ) Identification of process improvements to support the management team and improve the delivery of information across the division Other Responsibilities Resolving ad-hoc queries from onsite counterparts within and outside the division Completion of all process related MI’s and governance tools Manage Support / cover for other members / team members of the finance team as required Supervise and manage the entity accounting team Candidate Profile Essential Skills Qualified Accountant with 12+ years relevant experience, qualified / Semi Qualified Accountant (CA/CWA/CIMA / ACCA ) or MBA in Finance Minimum of 7-10 years’ relevant experience. R2R / Core finance Domain expertise Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Solid organisational skills to ensure completion of multiple activities within tight reporting deadlines Excellent Excel skills are vital given the nature of the responsibilities Strong on finance fundamentals Flexible to work in any shift timings Personal Attributes Leadership Skills Organised and proactive, tenacious with an enthusiasm to support the business Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem solving skills, plus excellent attention to detail Team player Ability to work under pressure Eager for additional responsibilities and looking for career progression within the organization At Strada, our values guide everything we do: Anticipate Customer Needs – We stay ahead of trends so our customers can grow and succeed.
