Senior Event Coordinator

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Event Coordinator to oversee the planning and execution of events at Sunburn Union. The role involves managing end-to-end event coordination, supervising junior team members, and ensuring seamless execution of nightlife events, DJ performances, and brand activations. Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Execution • Plan, coordinate, and execute events such as DJ nights, live music performances, themed parties, and brand activations. • Develop event schedules and ensure smooth coordination between teams. • Support the Event Manager in executing large-scale entertainment events. Team Supervision • Guide and supervise Event Coordinators and on-ground event staff. • Assign responsibilities and ensure timely completion of event-related tasks. Artist & Vendor Coordination • Coordinate with DJs, performers, talent agencies, and production vendors. • Manage vendor requirements including sound, lighting, stage setup, and décor. Operations Management • Oversee event setup, logistics, and venue readiness before events. • Ensure smooth on-ground operations during events and handle any issues proactively. Cross-Functional Coordination • Work closely with marketing, operations, and bar teams for event promotions and execution. • Assist with promotional campaigns and partnerships for upcoming events. Budget & Reporting • Assist in managing event budgets and tracking vendor costs. • Prepare post-event reports including attendance, feedback, and performance insights. Guest Experience • Ensure high-quality guest experience during events. • Manage VIP guests, guest lists, and special arrangements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field. • 3–5 years of experience in event coordination, nightlife, hospitality, or entertainment industry. • Strong experience managing live events, DJ nights, and large gatherings. • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. • Ability to work late nights, weekends, and high-pressure event environments. Preferred Skills • Experience in nightclubs, music festivals, or entertainment venues. • Strong network with artists, DJs, and event vendors. • Knowledge of event production, sound, and lighting coordination.
