Dear Candidate, We are looking for Primary Teacher for CBSE / Cambridge. Job Summary The Primary English Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction to students in Grades 1–5, aligned with CBSE and/or Cambridge (IGCSE Primary/Checkpoint) curriculum standards. The teacher will develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills using engaging, child-centered, and inquiry-based teaching methods. Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Learning - Plan and deliver English lessons as per CBSE or Cambridge Primary framework - Teach phonics, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, creative writing, and spoken English - Use age-appropriate strategies such as storytelling, role play, discussions, and activities - Encourage critical thinking, communication, and language confidence - Integrate ICT, teaching aids, and interactive learning resources Assessment & Progress - Assess students’ learning through worksheets, classwork, projects, and assessments - Maintain academic records and provide constructive feedback - Prepare students for internal and external assessments (as applicable) - Support differentiated learning for diverse learner needs Classroom & Student Development - Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment - Foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for reading - Support students’ overall academic and personal development Communication & Collaboration - Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress - Participate in staff meetings, curriculum planning, and training programs - Contribute to school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities - Follow school policies, safeguarding, and child protection guidelines Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in English / Education - B.Ed / D.El.Ed (mandatory for CBSE; preferred for Cambridge) - Cambridge teacher training or certification (preferred for Cambridge curriculum) - Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the primary level - Strong command of spoken and written English Skills & Competencies - Excellent communication and classroom management skills - Understanding of CBSE learning outcomes / Cambridge learner attributes - Activity-based, learner-centered teaching approach - Assessment and reporting skills - Patience, adaptability, and passion for teaching young learners Working Conditions - Full-time position - Classroom-based teaching - Working hours as per school schedule If interested please share your profile to Regards, HR Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
