Data Engineer with Snowflake

Hiring: Data Engineer (DBT | Python | Snowflake) We are hiring a Data Engineer for a client engagement with a strong focus on DBT, Python, and Snowflake — in that order of priority. This is not a junior role. We are looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership of tasks, and contribute from day one. Role Overview The primary objective of this role is to onboard multiple data sources onto the Caspian platform using established best practices. In addition to loading and transforming large datasets, the role involves leveraging Dagster for workflow orchestration and automation — making strong Python capability essential. Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage data transformations using DBT • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines • Design and optimize SQL-based data models in Snowflake • Implement ETL processes and workflow orchestration • Use Python to support automation and onboarding workflows via Dagster • Ensure high data quality, validation, and consistency across pipelines • Collaborate with platform teams to integrate cloud-based systems Required Skills • Strong proficiency in SQL • Hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation • Solid experience with Snowflake • Strong Python skills (especially for orchestration and automation) • Experience building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines • Understanding of data modeling and data quality best practices • Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Dagster is a strong plus) • Ability to work independently and deliver with minimal supervision Experience • Minimum 4+ years in Data Engineering or related field • Preferably mid-level profiles with hands-on project experience Job Type: Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 6 months Work Location: In person
