Job Title: Business Analyst – General Insurance Experience: 3–5 Years Domain: General Insurance Working Hours: Singapore Time Zone (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM SGT) Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst with 3–5 years of experience in the General Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to analyze requirements, improve processes, and deliver effective technology and business solutions aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: · Analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements across General Insurance processes such as Underwriting, Claims, Policy Administration, Renewals, and Billing · Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements · Prepare detailed documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and data mappings · Support solution design by translating business needs into functional specifications · Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions · Assist in UAT planning and execution, including test scenario creation, defect triage, and validation of fixes · Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation · Support change management activities and post-implementation reviews Required Skills & Experience · 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the General Insurance domain · Strong understanding of General Insurance products (Motor, Health, Property, Liability, etc.) · Hands-on experience with requirement gathering techniques and documentation standards · Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills · Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams · Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, or similar Preferred Qualifications: · Experience working on digital transformation or core insurance system implementations · Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, IIBA-AAC) is an added advantage · Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or SQL is an added advantage Educational Qualification · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field Interested candidate can share their resume on hiren.shah@synoverge.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: From ₹300,000.00 per year Benefits: • Health insurance • Provident Fund Work Location: In person
