We’re looking for a highly motivated and creative Finance Intern to work closely with our Founding Team and Creative Director. Role Overview This is a Founders’ Office role with deep exposure to finance. You won’t be siloed—you'll be working across the entire financial function, from daily operations to strategic planning and investor relations. If you want to understand how a brand actually runs, scales, and manages capital, this role will give you that front-row seat. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & Bookkeeping • Maintain books of accounts with accuracy and consistency • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, expense tracking, and reconciliations • Create and manage invoices, receivables, and payables Financial Reporting & Analysis • Prepare financial statements (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet basics) • Track product-level costing, margins, and profitability • Build clean, structured reports for founder-level decision-making Forecasting & Strategic Planning • Develop monthly forecasts and revenue projections • Assist in setting targets and tracking performance • Identify inefficiencies and suggest cost optimizations Compliance • Support ROC and GST filings and financial documentation • Coordinate with external accountants to ensure compliance People Ops & Payroll • Assist with payroll processing and compensation tracking • Support financial aspects of hiring and team management Investor Relations & Growth • Work on existing investor relations—reporting, updates, and communication • Assist in preparing investor decks and financial summaries • Research grants, funding opportunities, and strategic partnerships Who Should Apply • Bachelor's/Master's Student in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related fields • Strong interest in startups, finance, and founder-led environments • Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and numbers • Highly detail-oriented with strong ownership • Able to operate in a fast-paced, evolving setup • Based in Kolkata (preferred) What You’ll Gain • Direct exposure to the Founders’ Office and decision-making • End-to-end understanding of finance in a growing brand • Hands-on experience with investor relations, forecasting, and strategy • Stipend Agencies will not be considered.
