IT Security & Infrastructure Specialist – CSOC Operations

Location: Mumbai Qualification: Full-time B.E/ B.Tech / MCA / MSc (IT/Computer Science) / BCA / B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) Experience: Minimum 7 years in IT, with at least 5 years in supporting IT servers/VM backups and implementing security products (NAC, Antivirus, Endpoint Protection, E-Mail Security, Network APT/EDR/Threat Hunting/Forensics). Certifications: Certificate from a reputed NAC & IT Administration platform. Availability: Immediate Joiners preferred Roles & Responsibilities Incident Management Handle escalated issues from CSOC related to servers, storage, network devices, and power systems. Perform root cause analysis for recurring hardware/connectivity issues. Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement or repair. Infrastructure Monitoring Monitor CSOC server, storage, network devices, and power systems. Review alerts from DC monitoring tools and take corrective actions. Ensure uptime and availability of critical systems. Backup Management Validate daily, weekly, and monthly backup jobs for CSOC servers and applications. Perform manual backups when automated jobs fail. Maintain backup logs, report discrepancies, and conduct periodic restore tests. Disaster Recovery (DR) Drill Activity Participate in scheduled DR drills. Validate failover of CSOC critical systems to DR site. Test application accessibility and network connectivity during simulations. Document drill results for compliance/audit teams. Upgrade & Patch Support Assist in applying OS patches, firmware upgrades, and security updates. Validate system health post-upgrade and ensure rollback plans are ready in case of failure. Restore Operations Perform data restoration from backups during incidents or user requests. Validate restored data integrity and application functionality. Document restore activities for audit purposes. Access Control & Security Manage physical access to the data center as per policy. Ensure compliance with security standards and report unauthorized access attempts immediately. Documentation & Reporting Maintain logs of incidents, maintenance activities, and configuration changes. Update SOPs and operational checklists regularly. Prepare daily/weekly health reports for DC infrastructure. Coordination Work closely with L3 teams for complex troubleshooting. Support project teams during migrations, deployments, and audits. Liaise with vendors for hardware support and warranty claims. Key Skills • Strong knowledge of Linux & Windows OS, Databases, and Network Management Software. • Expertise in NAC, Endpoint Protection, EDR, Threat Hunting, and Forensics solutions. • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
