Role
The outlet Manager will oversee the daily operations and management of a designated outlet within the retail chain specializing in Indian sweets. The role requires a deep understanding of customer service, food retail, inventory management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer experiences while maintaining operational efficiency and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
• Manage day-to-day operations efficiently, ensuring smooth functioning of the outlet.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and maintaining freshness of products.
• Implement and maintain hygiene and quality standards in line with regulatory requirements.
Customer Service:
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Train and supervise staff to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Sales and Performance:
• Meet sales targets by strategizing and executing effective sales techniques.
• Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to optimize product offerings and promotions.
• Implement marketing initiatives to increase footfall and sales.
Team Leadership:
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and standards.
• Schedule and manage employee shifts efficiently, considering peak hours and business needs.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
Financial Management:
• Monitor and control expenses to optimize profitability while maintaining quality.
• Prepare and manage budgets, including revenue forecasts and cost analysis.
Reporting:
• Generate regular reports on sales, inventory, and operational performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve outlet performance.
Candidate
• 5+ yearss in a managerial role within the food retail industry, preferably in Indian sweets or related cuisine, or hospitality industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of inventory management and control.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in food handling.
• Proficiency in basic accounting and ability to interpret financial reports.
• Flexibility to work during peak business hours and weekends.
