L3 Linux / Cloud Engineer

Role Summary We are seeking a Level 3 (L3) Linux & Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Linux systems, AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and enterprise monitoring using Zabbix. This role acts as the final escalation point for complex Linux and cloud-related incidents, owns root cause analysis (RCA), and is responsible for system reliability, performance, automation, and cloud architecture across production environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, deploy, and support enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu) • Act as L3 escalation point for complex Linux, cloud, and performance-related incidents • Administer and troubleshoot AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments • Manage compute, storage, networking, and security components in cloud platforms • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for outages, performance issues, and recurring incidents • Implement system hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation • Design and maintain high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies • Own and architect enterprise monitoring using Zabbix (design, tuning, scaling) • Lead on-prem to cloud and cross-cloud migration initiatives • Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation • Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical leadership Technical Skills – Required (Must Have) • Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu) • Advanced troubleshooting of CPU, memory, disk, filesystem, and network issues • Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, EBS, S3, ELB, CloudWatch) • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI – Compute, VCN, Storage, IAM) • Shell scripting (Bash) for automation and operational efficiency – MUST • Strong Zabbix SME-level expertise (architecture, templates, triggers, tuning, scaling) • Experience with system hardening, SELinux, firewalld, and security best practices • Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning • Experience working in enterprise or MSP environments Automation & DevOps – Good to Have • Python scripting for cloud and system automation • Ansible for configuration management and orchestration • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, OCI Resource Manager) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows Experience & Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in Linux and cloud infrastructure roles • Strong L3 escalation and incident ownership experience • Experience supporting production AWS and OCI environments • Hands-on Zabbix SME experience in enterprise environments • Strong documentation and communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹692,360.69 - ₹1,793,046.02 per year Application Question(s): • Are you fine to work in permanent night shift from our office at sector 62 Gurgaon 5 days a week from office.
