Information Security Officer Internship in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Mumbai, Pune (Hybrid)

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include • Assist in maintaining compliance with security frameworks including ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type 2, and NIST 800-53. • Support the security team in preparing documentation and maintaining records required for security audits and assessments. • Track compliance requirements and monitor implementation of security policies and controls. • Assist in supporting security certifications, privacy regulations, and cybersecurity compliance initiatives such as DPDPA. • Support basic risk assessments and help identify potential security risks. • Maintain records of security risks and remediation activities. • Coordinate vulnerability scans and track remediation efforts with relevant teams. • Assist in conducting third-party vendor security reviews and maintaining related documentation. • Support the use of GRC automation tools to track compliance status and risk registers. • Assist in creating reports and dashboards to monitor security posture, compliance gaps, and risks. • Maintain documentation and records related to security controls and compliance metrics. • Assist in organizing security awareness initiatives and employee training programs. • Support engineering teams in promoting secure coding practices and security best practices. • Conduct basic security configuration checks for systems and applications under guidance.
