Backend Developer(Python+AWS)

Job Title: Backend Developer (Python + AWS) Location: Remote Experience: 10+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and cloud technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting cloud-based solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. This role requires strong knowledge of backend architecture, relational databases, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable and scalable systems while ensuring high performance and system stability. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python. • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments. • Work with AWS cloud services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, Amazon RDS, Amazon API Gateway, and Amazon Kinesis. • Design, manage, and optimize relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle Database. • Collaborate with technical leads, DevOps teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to implement new features and improvements. • Follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and support production deployments. • Troubleshoot system issues across development, testing, and production environments to ensure system reliability and stability. • Support the migration of on-premises applications to cloud-based environments. • Write and maintain unit tests and functional tests for new features and enhancements. • Use version control tools such as GitHub or GitLab for collaborative development and code management. Required Skills • 10+ years of experience in backend development. • Strong expertise in Python programming for backend development. • Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database systems. • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle databases. • Experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, IAM, and Kinesis. • Experience working with Docker and cloud-based architecture. • Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics capabilities. • Experience using Terraform for infrastructure automation and management. • Familiarity with Java and Bash scripting. Good to Have Skills • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow. • Knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. • Experience building and managing ETL pipelines. • AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or similar. • Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
