Computer Hardware & Networking Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking an IT Hardware Network Engineer with a strong background in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience and possess in-depth knowledge of WINHMS software. Key Responsibilities: • Network Administration: • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the hotel’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. • Monitor network health, identify issues, and implement solutions in a timely manner. • Hardware Support • Manage and maintain hardware components including servers, switches, routers, and workstations. • Perform regular hardware upgrades and replacements to ensure up-to-date technology is in use. • WINHMS Software Management: • Provide support and training for staff on the WINHMS software, ensuring it is utilized effectively for hotel operations. • Troubleshoot any issues related to the WINHMS software and coordinate with vendors when necessary. • Technical Support: • Offer technical assistance to hotel staff regarding IT equipment and software issues, ensuring efficient and effective use of technology. • Manage helpdesk tickets and provide follow-up to ensure resolution of issues. • Collaboration: • Work closely with other IT staff and departments to enhance IT services and improve overall guest experience. • Participate in projects related to system upgrades and new technology implementations. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT hardware/network engineering, preferably in the hospitality industry. • Proficient knowledge and experience in WINHMS software. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
