Responsibilities • Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons in Science, English, and other primary curriculum subjects in accordance with national standards and school policies. • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, participation, and independent thinking. • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support learning. • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning. • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs and learning styles. • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support student development and address any behavioural or academic concerns. • Organise extracurricular activities that complement the curriculum and promote holistic development. • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic progress in compliance with school policies. Skills • Proven experience in teaching Science, English, or primary education with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents. • Strong behaviour management skills to create a safe and respectful classroom environment. • Ability to develop creative lesson plans that cater to different learning abilities and interests. • Organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. • Passionate about fostering a love of learning among young children and committed to their personal growth.
