Responsibilities: • Evaluate the latest fashion trends, buying patterns, and demographics of target market. • Identify buying trends, establish merchandise categories, and develop product assortments • Sales planning & budgeting. • Sourcing fabrics and accessories. • Demand planning & allocation of the products. • Forecasting business projections & trends. • Building a strong supplier base to get products at right price, right quality and right time. • Planning right product assortment and pricing strategies to remain relevant to the consumer across all regions. • Monitoring stocks, deliveries to ensure we maintain optimum stock turn at each location • Data Management & Analysis- Sales growth report, monthly MIS and Analysing & forecasting • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc • Giving clarification to production and quality team related to style. • Generating online sales from the head office. • Attending exhibitions. • Handling and executing client orders internally. • Customer Service and conversion of queries. • Handling MBO'S and assisting sales thereon. • Coordinating with stylists and PR for Celebrity and influencer dressing. • Managing website orders. • Working with the design team and curating merchandise as per the changing market trends Requirements: We are known for our print-heavy, detail-driven styles, so familiarity with different textile printing techniques and processes will be a strong advantage and make you an ideal candidate. • 2-3 years’ proven experience in fashion merchandising • Knowledge of fashion trends and merchandising techniques • Ability to develop and maintain strong vendor relationships • Experience in e-commerce or D2C brand will be an added advantage • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. • Availability to travel for exhibitions and sourcing. • Knowledge of Design and Production.
