As Sales Head - General Trade with the Personal Care Company in Mumbai, your role involves growing the consumer General Trade business profitably by focusing on Distribution, Sales, Key Account Management, and Category management. You will lead a sales organization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness while developing a superior consumer and market understanding for mechanical household cleaning products in India. It is crucial to act as a role model for the sales organization by embodying and promoting the company's Mission Statement in daily business operations. Setting short-term and long-term sales objectives, providing necessary resources to the sales organization, and ensuring the accomplishment of business results are key aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve monthly/annual sales targets for Distribution, Sales, Profitability, Merchandising, Trade budget, Accounts Receivables, and New Product targets. Implement corrective measures as needed. - Develop and execute strategies for existing, new, or under-developed trade channels/markets to maximize potential. - Implement regular and standardized analysis and reporting of business performance against agreed targets, including zonal, customer sales, profitability, Distributors sales, product-sales, coverage, distribution, merchandising, and productivity. - Manage price levels and trade margins, driving price list implementation in the country. - Establish clear OGSM for the Sales organization and define working customer plans in collaboration with Marketing.
