General Manager - Human Resources

The Shri Ram Universal School, Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned General Manager – Human Resources to lead and strengthen the HR function across academic and administrative verticals. The role demands strategic leadership, strong statutory compliance expertise, and experience in managing HR operations in a CBSE school ecosystem. Key Responsibilities • Lead recruitment and workforce planning for teaching and non-teaching staff • Ensure compliance with CBSE norms, labor laws, PF, ESI, Gratuity & POSH regulations • Drive performance management systems and appraisal frameworks • Oversee payroll, compensation structuring, and benefits administration • Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures • Support audits, inspections, and board-related documentation • Lead employee engagement and professional development initiatives Eligibility • MBA / Master’s in HR or related discipline • 10–15 years of progressive HR experience (K–12 school experience preferred) • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and education-sector HR practices • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills Key Skills HR Strategy | School HR | CBSE Compliance | Payroll | Recruitment | Performance Management | Labor Laws | POSH | Employee Engagement | Local Candidates from Hyderabad - Telangana will be preferred.
