We’re hiring a Social Media Manager or person who wants to be a manger and has the aptitude to own our social presence from strategy → content → production → posting → community → reporting . You will plan and execute the full social media engine across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, X, etc.), create viral and high-performing short-form videos, and grow our reach, leads, and brand trust. The role blends creative + execution + analytics + customer response speed , because modern social is both marketing and customer care.

Responsibilities (End-to-End)
Strategy & Planning
• Build and maintain a monthly content strategy + weekly execution plan.
• Create content pillars , audience personas, and platform-specific posting frameworks.
• Run competitor research and trend tracking; translate insights into content.
Content Creation (Core)
• Create high-quality short-form videos (Reels, Shorts) and social graphics (carousels, posts, stories).
• Write hooks , captions, CTAs, and scripts optimized for retention and engagement.
• Maintain a content library: b-roll, templates, brand elements, thumbnails, intros/outros.
Publishing & Operations
• Schedule and publish content using tools (Meta Business Suite / scheduling platforms).
• Manage approvals, versioning, file structure, and deadlines.
• Ensure brand consistency (tone, visuals, hashtags, formatting).
Community & Customer Care
• Respond to comments/DMs professionally and quickly; escalate issues when needed.

Build community engagement workflows: prompts, polls, story interactions, comment strategy.
(Customer response is now a core part of social expectations.)
Growth & Performance
• Track performance weekly: watch time, retention, shares, saves, profile visits, CTR, leads.
• Optimize using A/B tests: hooks, thumbnails, lengths, posting times, formats.
• Produce a monthly report that connects social performance to business outcomes.
(Optional) Paid Social Support
• Boost top-performing posts and assist in basic campaign setup/targeting (if required).
Requirements
Office Location: Nand-Manohar Plaza, Vengurla Road, Sulaga-U. Belgaum-Karnataka 591108
Office Time: 10:00 AM IST to 7:00 PM IST
• Proven experience managing brand social accounts end-to-end (portfolio required).
• Strong grasp of daily social tasks: content creation, scheduling, analytics, engagement.
• Video creation + editing skills (mandatory):
• Editing short videos for Reels/Shorts (cuts, captions, transitions, sound, pacing).
• Ability to create videos using stock footage / screen recordings / templates when needed.
• Graphic/content creation skills for social (carousels, thumbnails, simple motion).
• Strong English copywriting: hooks, captions, CTAs.
• Ability to work fast in a deadline-driven environment.
Mandatory Skills (Checklist)
Content & Creative
• Short-form video editing (Reels/Shorts): CapCut / Adobe Premiere / VN / Final Cut (any one strong)
• Basic design: Canva (required) + optional Adobe Express/Figma
• Script writing + hook writing + caption writing
• Hashtag & keyword research for discovery
Platform Execution
• Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn (must) + YouTube Shorts (good to have)
• Scheduling + publishing via Meta Business Suite / tools like Hootsuite/Buffer
• Community management: comment/DM handling, escalation, brand voice
Analytics
• Weekly performance reporting and content optimization based on results
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
• Paid social basics (boosting, audiences, simple campaigns).
• Social listening + reputation management workflows.
• Influencer/creator collaboration outreach.
• Basic SEO mindset for social (“social SEO” keywords, titles, searchable captions).
• Photography / shooting (not mandatory if you can create strong content without filming).
AI Skills (Expected)
You don’t need to be an “AI engineer,” but you must be comfortable using AI daily to move faster:
• Generate content ideas, hooks, scripts, and caption variations (prompting).
• Repurpose long content into multiple shorts and carousels.
• Use AI-assisted tools for editing, captions, subtitles, resizing, and optimization.
• Use AI to analyze what’s working and propose next experiments.
