Role Overview:
As a Web Marketing Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be responsible for managing content from various marketing teams and entering it into the websites' content management system. You will use customer-centric design principles and page analytics to make informed decisions and contribute to achieving business objectives. This role will also involve supporting data management and quality initiatives while collaborating with multiple marketing departments in a highly matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build web pages within the CMS (Adobe Experience Manager)/Wordpress and customize HTML/CSS code following style guidelines
- Collaborate with Business Partners to understand web content requests and recommend customer-centric web design/UX improvements
- Use project management system (Workfront) to manage content workflow, communicate updates, and upload URLs for review
- Optimize digital graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Express
- Manage images, marketing documents, and videos in the asset management system for website use
- Ensure accuracy, accessibility, and SEO performance of web pages
- Clean and format data from different sources to ensure consistency and usability
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Associates degree with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with customer-facing websites
- Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Wordpress
- Experience with Open Text Media and Brightcove is a plus
- Good understanding of SEO principles, HTML, and CSS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem-solve and exercise judgment
- Experience with project management tools like Workfront
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Express
- Proficiency in MS Office for data manipulation and analysis
