Job Title: Content Writer / Technical Writer Experience: 4+ Years Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Technical Content Writer to create clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation. As a critical member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring users have the right information to effectively understand and use our products. Key Responsibilities • Research, develop, write, edit, and maintain a wide range of technical documentation, including: • User manuals • Online help guides • FAQs • Knowledge base articles • API and software documentation • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, engineers, developers, and product managers to gather accurate and up-to-date technical information. • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand content for diverse audiences. • Apply strong information architecture principles to structure content for optimal usability. • Develop and maintain a consistent style, tone, and voice across all documentation. • Create and publish content using CMS and technical authoring tools. • Review, test, and update existing documentation to reflect product enhancements and process changes. • Develop detailed documentation for: • System architecture • Configuration options • Troubleshooting guides • Release notes • Ensure consistency in formatting and adherence to documentation standards and style guidelines. • Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and emerging trends in technical writing. Required Qualifications & Skills • Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Technical Writer / Content Writer. • Strong experience in creating high-quality technical documentation using: • DITA • Confluence • MadCap Flare • Markdown • HTML, XML • MSTP • API Documentation • Hands-on experience with MadCap Flare and Markdown is mandatory. • Solid understanding of software development and technical documentation processes. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. contact- View email address on click.appcast.io
