Financial Model Java Engineer

We are looking for someone to play a key role in providing technical know-how and engineering support as part of a team effort to review financial models of Trefis partners. Tasks will include troubleshooting, optimizing efficiency, and planning and developing new features for Trefis visualization technology. The role will involve working closely with a team of analysts and engineers based in Delhi and Boston. High performing individuals will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility defining the Trefis product and designing and implementing solutions. REQUIRED SKILLS The ideal candidate: • has experience in both Java and JavaScript • has excellent analytical reasoning and debugging skills (e.g. using Java debuggers and Firebug or Chrome webtools) • is comfortable in a Linux environment, including facility with bash scripts, reading logs, and server maintenance • is proficient in Excel • thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • is extremely detail-oriented • has excellent verbal and written communication skills LOCATION New Delhi, near Lotus Temple COMPENSATION In addition to a base cash salary, compensation includes an equity portion, and will be commensurate with experience CONTACT Email tech.jobs@trefis.com with the subject “Financial Model Java Engineer” and tell us why you are perfect for the job, and any relevant prior experience.
