ABOUT YOU: Tribute Technology is actively seeking a motivated an experienced Business Analyst, Data Engineering with expertise in AWS and GCP to join our Data & Analytics team. Our Data & Analytics team drives innovation and excellence by harnessing data to deliver actionable insights across the organization. As Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in compelling, data-driven stories that support strategic business decisions and enhance customer outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Translate complex data into compelling, data-driven stories that support strategic business decisions and enhance customer outcomes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. • Analyze operational datasets to discover deep, actionable insights that deliver measurable value to customers, enhancing process efficiency and effectiveness. • Conduct advanced data mining and analysis using SQL and data warehousing techniques to uncover trends, correlations, and insights that drive business improvements. • Design, build, and refine Power BI dashboards that transform complex data into clear, actionable insights, demonstrating ROI and performance improvements. • Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring the team works cross-functionally with business stakeholders to deliver projects effectively. • Create documentation of the analysis, maintain data asset documentation and data product documentation to ensure visibility and discoverability of our data products. • As a Business Data Analyst, analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making and strategy development. • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data sets, providing insights that drive business process improvements and operational efficiency. • Provide training and support to team members and other departments on data analysis techniques and the use of analytical tools, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or relevant field of study with 4+ years of experience as a business analyst. • Prior experience in an eCommerce business with high volume data (:1B sessions annually) and integrating data across multiple business units. • Hands-on experience in writing and analysing SQL from data warehouse solutions and data lakes. • Demonstrated ability to create intuitive, user-friendly dashboards in Power BI that effectively communicate process insights to diverse audiences. • Proven data analysis experience in cloud environments and BI tools (Power BI, Looker). • Strong analytical thinking with a focus on translating data into actionable business recommendations that drive measurable outcomes. • Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating across organizational boundaries in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
