QA Intern

Role Description We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our growing team. This role offers hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing within a fast-paced startup environment. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high product quality across our web applications. You will assist in designing, writing, and maintaining automated test scripts using modern frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium , while also performing manual and exploratory testing. You will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, identifying and tracking defects using JIRA , and contributing to quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle. This role provides exposure to REST API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern QA tools , making it an excellent learning opportunity for early-career QA professionals. Qualifications 0–1 years of experience or relevant internship / academic project exposure Basic understanding of manual testing concepts and test case creation Interest in automation testing (Playwright / Selenium) Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus Basic knowledge of REST API testing Awareness of Git and CI/CD concepts Experience or exposure to JIRA or any bug tracking tool Basic understanding of databases (MongoDB preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative startup environment Eagerness to learn and grow in modern QA practices
