Job Title: Marketing & PR Manager Location: On-site, Kanpur Role Overview: We are looking for a creative, proactive, and street-smart Marketing & PR professional to build strong visibility and community engagement for our brands—Turfini (our premium pickleball and padel facility) and The Guild (our modern European cafe). This dynamic role requires a hands-on approach, heavily focusing on on-field, hyper-local guerrilla marketing to dominate our immediate market. You will also manage digital marketing, PR initiatives, influencer collaborations, and on-ground events to drive both brand awareness and daily footfall. Key Responsibilities: • Hyper-Local & Guerrilla Marketing: Spearhead on-field, grassroots marketing initiatives using unconventional, high-impact guerrilla techniques to maximize hyper-local brand presence and drive direct footfall in Kanpur. • Strategy & Execution: Plan and execute comprehensive marketing strategies bridging offline and online channels to increase customer engagement across both the sports facility and the cafe. • Community & Digital Management: Manage social media platforms, including content planning, posting, and active community building. • Content Creation & Design: Create engaging content and design marketing creatives and social media posts (Proficiency in Canva required; additional design software skills are a strong bonus). • Paid Advertising: Plan, run, and optimize targeted paid campaigns on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. • Influencer & Brand Partnerships: Collaborate with local influencers, athletes, food bloggers, and synergistic local brands to increase reach and visibility. • Event Curation: Curate, market, and manage on-site events, sports tournaments, and promotional cafe activities. • Public Relations: Handle local PR initiatives, including media outreach, press coverage, and community partnerships. • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with external vendors for marketing collateral, printing, and event requirements. Requirements: • Prior experience working with sports/fitness and F&B brands. • Strong communication, networking, and content writing skills. • Proficiency in Canva. • Demonstrated experience in influencer collaborations, brand partnerships, and end-to-end event curation.
