This is not a standard ticket-closing role; it is a core engineering position focused on production resilience. You will own the stability and performance of our ReactJS applications, ensuring that what we ship works flawlessly for real users. You will work closely with backend, QA, and product teams to optimize rendering efficiency, solve complex integration edge cases, and maintain high reliability across our web stack. By contributing directly to release quality and regression cycles, you will gain a level of product mastery that allows you to engineer proactive solutions rather than just reactive fixes. Work Schedule • Mandatory Overlap: You must be available to collaborate with the US team between 11:00 PM IST and 3:00 AM IST. • Purpose: This overlap is critical for real-time collaboration with US-based designers and engineers, ensuring seamless handoffs and faster resolution of complex UI states. Key Responsibilities Core Development & UX Optimization • Performance Engineering: Go beyond functional code. Use the React Profiler and browser DevTools to analyze rendering cycles, reduce re-renders, and optimize load times. • Complex Debugging: Diagnose and resolve intricate production issues in React applications, particularly those involving complex GraphQL data fetching and Node.js API integrations. • System Reliability: Identify patterns in UI failures or state management bugs (Context API/Hooks) and implement architectural fixes to prevent them from recurring. Product Quality & Release Engineering • Release Integrity: Partner with QA teams during pre-release testing. This hands-on involvement ensures you understand the full impact of new features on existing user flows before they go live. • Feedback Loop: Act as the technical voice of the user. By validating user flows and fixing integration issues, you provide critical feedback to the product team to improve long-term usability. • Integration Stability: Collaborate with DevOps and backend engineers to troubleshoot deployment-related frontend issues, ensuring smooth CI/CD pipeline execution. Technical Requirements Core Stack: • ReactJS: Strong command of Hooks, Context API, and React Router. • API Integration: Proficiency with GraphQL and REST APIs, understanding how backend data structures impact frontend performance. • Fundamentals: Expert-level JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Tooling & Best Practices: • Diagnostics: Experience with Sentry, LogRocket, or similar observability tools to trace production errors. • Build & Deploy: Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack) and version control (GitHub/GitLab). • Architecture: Exposure to component-driven architectures or multi-tenant SaaS systems is a strong plus.
