Agriculture Market Research & Outreach Internship

Roles: We are building a smart agriculture monitoring platform to help farmers improve irrigation and crop health. The intern will support market validation by connecting with farmer organizations and agricultural institutions. Responsibility: • Compile a database of farmer organizations and agricultural institutions. • Identify and collect contact information for: Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and Krishi Vigyan Kendra centers • Conduct outreach through phone, email, or WhatsApp. • Schedule conversations with farmers or agricultural officers. • Record insights about farmer problems and technology adoption. • Identify potential farms for pilot testing. Requirements: • Good communication skills • Basic research and data organization skills • Comfortable speaking with farmers or rural organizations Preferred Skills: • Interest in agriculture or rural development • Experience with spreadsheets or CRM tools • Learning Opportunities • Startup market validation • Agriculture ecosystem understanding • Customer discovery and outreach
