A Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and high‑performance data systems. The role focuses on developing efficient ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality, managing data storage systems, and enabling analytics, reporting, and machine-learning use cases. This position collaborates closely with data scientists, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data availability and accessibility. The position requires in-office work in Pune, Maharashtra, India. &##128203; Key Responsibilities Technical Expertise Strong proficiency in SQL and Python 1 2. Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink) 1. Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) 1. Experience working with ETL/ELT orchestration tools. Understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and governance. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate complex data topics to non‑technical audiences 4. Collaborative mindset and stakeholder engagement skills. Education & Experience Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent. Typically, 3–8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience (depending on level).
