Video Post-Production Assistant

VidUnit Media is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to repurpose and edit licensed or acquired video content for our YouTube channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of YouTube formatting, pacing, and storytelling to transform raw or pre-existing footage into engaging, compliant, and high-performing videos. Key Responsibilities: • Edit and reformat acquired/licensed video content into engaging YouTube-ready videos. • Ensure all edits comply with content usage rights, copyright, and platform policies. • Enhance content with smooth transitions, text overlays, intros/outros, background music, and relevant graphics. • Optimize videos for YouTube standards including pacing, aspect ratio, retention strategies, and metadata alignment. • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure videos meet channel goals and branding guidelines. • Organize and manage media assets efficiently to maintain a consistent workflow. • Stay current with YouTube editing styles, content trends, and best practices. Requirements: • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. • Proven experience editing video content for YouTube or digital platforms. • Understanding of copyright, fair use, and content licensing principles.
