Hiring: Senior Librarian Location: Vidyashilp Academy, Yelahanka (North Bangalore) We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and passionate Librarian to join our team. Roles & Responsibilities - Oversee daily library operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and protection of resources - Develop and maintain the library inventory (books, periodicals, multimedia, etc.) - Conduct regular database updates and information audits - Assist students and staff with research, reading materials, and references - Respond to queries via phone and email - Manage and update library website content (book summaries, reviews, blogs, etc.) - Research and implement new information system techniques - Organize engaging library activities and events (storytelling sessions, author readings, book fairs, etc.) - Manage budgeting and billing for new acquisitions - Supervise library assistants and support staff ✅ Desired Candidate Profile - Prior experience as a Librarian or Junior Librarian - Proficiency in computers and electronic databases - Familiarity with information management systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Patient, friendly, and service-oriented personality - Degree in Library Science (Master’s in Library Science or Information Management preferred) ✨ Perks & Benefits - Meals on campus - Concessional transport - Medical insurance & coverage upon confirmation Interested candidates may share their profiles at: Join us in fostering a lifelong love for learning and reading! ✨
