VICE PRINCIPAL- PRIMARY SECTION

Position Overview The Vice Principal / Headmistress for the Primary Section will provide academic and administrative leadership to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, discipline, and student development in Grades I–V. The role involves curriculum supervision, teacher mentoring, parent coordination, and smooth daily operations of the primary wing. Key Responsibilities Academic Leadership • Plan, implement, and monitor curriculum delivery (as per ICSE/CBSE/State Board guidelines). • Ensure effective lesson planning and classroom management. • Supervise academic assessments and maintain quality standards. • Introduce innovative teaching-learning strategies. • Monitor student progress and ensure remedial support where required. Staff Supervision & Development • Guide, mentor, and evaluate primary teachers. • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions. • Identify professional development needs of teachers. • Promote a collaborative and positive work culture. Student Development & Discipline • Maintain discipline and ensure child-friendly environment. • Address student behavioral concerns in coordination with parents. • Promote holistic development (co-curricular and life skills). Administration & Operations • Oversee daily functioning of the primary section. • Prepare academic calendars and timetables. • Maintain student records and documentation. • Coordinate with Principal and management for policy implementation. Parent & Community Engagement • Conduct parent-teacher meetings. • Address parent concerns professionally. • Build positive school-home relationships. Eligibility & Qualification • Undergraduate with D.El.Ed/ B.Ed. • Minimum 5–10 years of teaching experience in Primary Section. • At least 2–3 years of leadership/coordination experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of curriculum planning and child psychology.
