Role Description The Writer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bathinda, Punjab, at the Central University of Punjab. The Writer will be responsible for drafting, editing, and proofreading content for various university publications, including academic materials, promotional content, press releases, newsletters, and reports. The role involves conducting research, collaborating with faculty and administrative staff, and ensuring accuracy and clarity in written communications. Additional responsibilities include developing content strategies, promoting university programs, and maintaining consistency with the institution's guidelines and standards. Qualifications • Strong skills in Writing, Creative Writing, and Content Development • Experience in Editing, Proofreading, and ensuring grammatical and stylistic accuracy • Expertise in Research to produce well-informed and factual content • Proficiency in Content Strategy and Development of academic and promotional materials • Strong Communication and Organizational skills with attention to detail • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field • Prior experience in academic or educational writing is advantageous
