Telematics Developer

Job Purpose: The purpose of the job is to provide telematics development in Linux/Android domains. Key Job Responsibilities: • Review customer requirements, design/improve architecture solutions as per telematics feature set requirement in consideration to OEM requirements. • Evaluate functional requirements captured by feature owners. • Cross functional team communication on system design and providing suggestion on system architecture. • Assure high quality through code verification activities – code review, integration testing, unit testing. • Configure and Integrate customer and third-party software components. • Analyse, monitor and improve efficiency, stability of the system. • Prepare appropriate technical documentation. Key Performance Indicators: · Good Knowledge in telematics and Infotainment domain experience · Good understanding of FOTA and cloud communication model · Excellent C/C++, JAVA programming skills in embedded development · Good analytical skills, debugging and troubleshooting · Exposure to the usage of Kernel trace / trace logger, core dump analysis and other debug mechanisms. Architecture design model/patterns knowledge for embedded system To be interactive and good in communication. · Working Experience in Linux/ Android AOSP based infotainment and build environment · Understanding of modem wireless communication specification – Desirable · Understanding of SIM management – Desirable · Development work experience on device cloud communication and telematics feature Understanding of AT commands and power management for modem Usage of GIT tools and knowledgeable in Configuration management. Critical experiences required to be ready for this job: · Good Knowledge in telematics and Infotainment domain experience · Good in debugging skills and C, C++, Java programming experience · Working Experience in Linux/ Android AOSP based infotainment and build environment · Architecture design model/patterns knowledge for embedded system Special/regulatory requirements – if any (e.g. qualification/certification, language capability, extensive travel etc.) – · Development work experience modem management and connectivity · Working Experience in Linux/ Android AOSP based infotainment and build environment · Architecture design model/patterns knowledge for embedded system
