Photo/Video Editor for a Luxury Brand

As a Photo Editor at our company, your role will involve reviewing photos, making necessary edits, and deciding on the images to be published. You will be responsible for ensuring all assignments are shot and edited on time for publication, manipulating photos to achieve the highest quality using appropriate tools, and properly using all photo equipment. Additionally, you will liaise with editors, photographers, and advertising representatives, advise on future projects, and stay updated with new image editing technology. Collaborating with other departments, you will create innovative design ideas, study design briefs, determine requirements, and make amendments based on feedback to ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand. Key Responsibilities: - Review photos, edit, and make necessary changes - Decide which images to publish - Ensure all assignments are shot and edited on time for publication - Manipulate photos to achieve the highest quality using appropriate tools - Ensure all photo equipment is used properly and order supplies as needed - Liaise with editors, photographers, and advertising reps and advise on future projects - Stay up to date with new image editing technology - Create innovative design ideas by collaborating with other departments - Study design briefs and determine requirements - Amend work after feedback - Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand Qualifications and Skills: - 0-2 years of Experience - Proven work experience as a photo editor - Solid experience with digital technology and photo editing software packages (e.g. Photoshop, Pixlr, and Affinity Photo) - Strong photo editing skills and an excellent portfolio - Thorough knowledge of computer imaging, photographic techniques, studio management, and color composition - Creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills - Time-management and leadership skills - Familiarity with design software and technologies (Photoshop) - Excellent communication skills - Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Any stream will be an add-on - Experience will be preferred - Proficiency with computers and design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Please write to us with your resume at care@weaverstory.com.
