Merchandiser / Product Developer (Home Textiles)

As a Product Developer at Weavetex India, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end product development process for home textiles. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new products and samples across various categories, ensuring they meet buyer expectations in terms of quality, design, and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new products and samples in home textile categories
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of weaving techniques such as jacquard, dobby, plain, twill, handwoven, etc.
- Utilize knowledge of materials & yarns including cotton, recycled cotton, blends, jute, chenille, polyester, etc.
- Coordinate with multiple suppliers for various stages of production including yarn, weaving, dyeing, finishing, stitching, and packing
- Manage sampling timelines and ensure on-time dispatch to customers
- Ensure samples align with buyer specs, quality standards, and costing
- Track sample status and maintain clear communication with the sales team
- Handle courier coordination & documentation for sample dispatches
- Support collection development based on market trends and buyer feedback
We are looking for candidates with:
- 3+ years of experience in home textile product development/sampling
- Solid technical knowledge of textile constructions and processes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple developments simultaneously
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills
- Experience working with export-oriented buyers is a plus
- Willingness to work from Panipat & Murthal
