Job Title: Continental Chef (Experienced Only) Location: Badrinath, Uttarakhand Salary: As per experience Accommodation: Provided by the company Meals: Duty meals provided Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Continental Chef to join our kitchen team in Badrinath, Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in preparing a variety of Continental, Italian, and European dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation. The role requires creativity, efficiency, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced kitchen setting, especially during the peak pilgrimage season. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a wide range of continental, Italian, and European dishes, including pasta, risotto, pizzas, sandwiches, grills, soups, salads, and baked items. - Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation of all dishes. - Prepare sauces and bases commonly used in Italian and European cuisine. - Assist in menu planning and introduce new continental and European dishes when required. - Ensure strict adherence to kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards. - Monitor inventory of ingredients and coordinate with the kitchen team for timely procurement. - Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimise wastage. - Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and workstations. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Continental chef in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality establishment. - Strong knowledge of continental, Italian, and European cuisine, including sauces and cooking techniques. - Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure and fast-paced kitchen environment. - Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. - Creativity and passion for preparing high-quality international dishes.
