Faculty/Professor-General Management

Role & Responsibilities · Teach and examine courses at all levels—undergraduate, master’s, and higher research degrees—through lectures, seminars, tutorials, coursework, and personal supervision. · Provide high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Hybrid Education setting, particularly in finance and related subjects. · Evaluate and grade projects/examinations and track student progress. · Contribute to the Curriculum Area/Department’s development plan and implementation. · Use a variety of delivery methods to stimulate learning appropriate to student needs and syllabus demands. · Ensure the curriculum area provides a range of teaching that complements the university’s strategic objectives. · Assist in the process of curriculum development and change to ensure continued relevance to the needs of students, examining/awarding bodies, and institutional strategic objectives. · Ensure a high-quality learning experience for students that meets internal and external quality standards. · Continue personal development, including subject knowledge and teaching methods. · Contribute to the development of specialist teaching and learning provision, including short courses, in finance and associated disciplines. · Demonstrate proven excellence in teaching, with the ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective finance courses. · Proficiency in using a variety of teaching methods and technologies to accommodate different learning styles. Preferred Candidate Profile · A doctoral-level qualification in an area of academic relevance to the work of the Department OR · Master’s degree in Management/Business or a related discipline. · Relevant professional experience. · Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
