Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Automation Developer in Test (ADT) to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for our software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, deep understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications.
Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to understand requirements and create robust test strategies.
Execute automated and manual tests to ensure software functionality, performance, and reliability.
Identify, log, and track defects and work with developers to resolve them.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.
Develop and maintain reusable test components, libraries, and utilities.
Analyze test results, create detailed reports, and provide insights to improve software quality.
Stay updated with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in test automation.
Mentor and guide junior team members on automation and testing practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an Automation Developer in Test, SDET, or Test Automation Engineer.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Knowledge of API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile development practices.
