What You'll Do:
The People & Culture Business Partner (P&CBP) is responsible for delivering both tactical and strategic HR support to Wilson Sporting Goods’ North American Retail organization. This role partners closely with retail leadership, store managers, and cross-functional People & Culture teams. Primary areas of accountability include employee relations, recruitment, compensation guidance, training and development, and HR systems support.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Serve as a strategic advisor to retail leadership on organizational design and people strategy.
• Partner with retail leaders to identify, investigate, and resolve employee relations concerns.
• Provide coaching to managers on performance management, corrective action, and team dynamics.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Provide compensation guidance including salary recommendations and pay equity reviews.
• Support annual merit cycles and bonus program administration.
• Partner with Learning & Development and Retail Leadership on training needs and program delivery.
• Serve as point-of-contact for HRIS updates and data accuracy.
• Provide people analytics to support workforce planning and turnover insights
• Lead/co-lead hiring for Store Manager and other priority roles as needed, including sourcing, screening, and selection support; drive timely communication and a consistent candidate experience.
• Build proactive talent pipelines; support hiring initiatives (seasonal hiring, new store openings) as needed; and provide coaching/tools/training to strengthen store-level recruiting capabilities.
• Oversee retail recruiting activity in the ATS (process compliance/data accuracy) and support recruiting operations (background checks, offer letters, system/admin support); identify and implement recruiting process improvements.
What We're Looking For :
This role requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related filed plus 3+ years of progressive HR experience, often in generalist, business partner, employee relations, or talent-focused roles. Previous experience supporting retail teams is preferred.
Other qualifications include:
• Demonstrated success leading employee relations initiatives
• Experience managing compliance programs
• Ability to influence and coach business leaders
• A commitment to customer service
• Skilled at presenting, guiding discussions and facilitating P&C processes.
• Travel requirements vary depending on the time of the year and may be up to 40%

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $100,000 - $120,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
