Event Coordinator Assistant

Designation: Event Coordinator Intern Internship Type: Short-Term Project-Based (11 Days, Full-Time Hours) About the Company Taabur is a parenting community and platform focused on early-age, interest-based activity discovery and booking with a strong emphasis on holistic child development. WonderLab brings science and art alive through engaging shows, workshops, and DIY STEAM kits—designed for birthdays, schools, corporates, carnivals, and even at-home experiences. Together, Taabur and WonderLab aim to spark curiosity, creativity, and logical thinking in children by offering immersive, hands-on learning experiences that make science exciting, accessible, and fun. Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Coordinating and assisting in the execution of science and art-based events and workshops during the Baishakhi mall event series. 2. Managing on-ground logistics, including venue setup, teardown, and smooth flow of daily events in malls. 3. Working closely with anchors, facilitators, and team members from 12 PM to 9 PM each day. 4. Handling and managing event materials and kits responsibly before, during, and after each day's activities. 5. Ensuring timely reporting, attendance tracking, and task completion during the 11-day event period. 6. Assisting the core team in ensuring events run smoothly, engaging crowds, and maintaining a professional atmosphere. 7. Supporting crowd management and parent interactions at high-energy mall environments. Have relevant skills, interest, and willingness to work on-ground in mall settings. 3. Comfortable with a fast-paced, high-energy environment with daily shifts until 9 PM. Other Requirements 1. Prior experience in event management or coordination is preferred but not mandatory. 2. Comfortable working in bustling mall environments with crowds and children. 3. Strong communication and coordination skills for interacting with teams, parents, and vendors. 4. Responsible attitude towards handling materials, kits, and event assets. 5.
