Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities • Develop mechanical designs for wastewater and sewage treatment plants (WWTP/STP). • Perform equipment sizing and selection for pumps, blowers, mixers, aerators, screens, and sludge handling equipment. • Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and mechanical calculations. • Review vendor drawings and technical submissions. • Prepare and review P&IDs, GA drawings, and mechanical layouts. • Coordinate with civil, electrical, and process engineering teams. • Support procurement team in technical evaluation of vendors. • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers. • Ensure designs comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards. • Participate in project meetings, site visits, and troubleshooting activities when required. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred). • 8–12+ years of experience in water/wastewater treatment plant design. • Experience in STP, ETP, ZLD, and WTP projects is preferred.
