Inclusive Education Coordinator (POR3) Position Type School Leadership Commence Date ASAP Employment Status Permanent / Ongoing FTE/Hours per week Full Time Year Levels Primary Subject(s)/Grade POR3 Role Details Xavier College is seeking a motivated and dedicated Inclusive Education Coordinator for our Evanston (R-6) campus. This position is classified as a POR3 for a fixed period of four years. This role may include a teaching component and should be considered in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document. The Inclusive Education Coordinator is responsible for leading, coordinating and ensuring the effective delivery of the Inclusive Education Program. The role supports students with diverse, complex and additional learning needs. This includes working collaboratively with Education Support Officer – Curriculum (ESO) staff to coordinate and schedule in-class support in alignment with the Inclusive Education timetable. As the Inclusive Education Coordinator you will: - Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of inclusive education practices and programs that support the academic, social and emotional needs of students - Provide strategic leadership of inclusive education, including oversight of NCCD processes, Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs), reasonable adjustments and compliance obligations. - Lead and support ESO staff through effective communication, professional learning and strategic allocation of in class support. - Collaborate with teachers, wellbeing staff and leadership to strengthen inclusive classroom practice, PBIS implementation and student engagement. - Build partnerships with families, allied health professionals and external agencies (including NDIS) to ensure coordinated, responsive support for identified students. - Contribute to enrolment, transition planning and case management for students with additional needs. - Model a commitment to inclusive practice, advocating for equity, student wellbeing and positive learning outcomes For more information about the role and qualified responsibilities, please view the available Position Information Document: ********************************************************> Why Join Us?
