HPC Researcher / AI Systems Engineer 📍 Bangalore, India 🏢 Global Energy Technology Environment 🕒 On-site | Full-time Contract We are looking for a High Performance Computing (HPC) Researcher / AI Systems Engineer to join a cutting-edge team focused on accelerating computational innovation at the intersection of HPC, Artificial Intelligence, and advanced digital workflows. This role plays a key part in enabling faster and more accurate business decision-making through computational science and high-performance systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build and optimize next-generation computational platforms supporting advanced AI workloads. What You’ll Be Doing • Identify opportunities for performance optimization and parallelization across large-scale computational workloads • Develop new capabilities at the convergence of HPC, AI, and scientific computing • Contribute to performance engineering and optimization of Large Language Model (LLM) workloads • Design analytical and empirical performance modeling frameworks for AI workloads • Work with distributed systems to accelerate large-scale training and inference processes Required Technical Expertise • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computational Science, or related field • 3–7 years of experience in High Performance Computing, AI systems, or distributed computing environments • Programming experience in Python and Shell scripting • Experience with GPU or accelerator-based computing environments • Knowledge of CPU/GPU architectures and parallel execution models • Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools • Experience with software development tools and version control systems Nice to Have • Experience with SLURM or HPC job scheduling systems • Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow) • Exposure to LLM workloads or distributed AI training frameworks • Experience with scientific computing or AI workflow optimization Ideal Candidate You are passionate about solving complex computational challenges and enjoy working at the intersection of HPC infrastructure, AI research, and performance engineering.
