Network Engineer- L1

Job Title: Network Engineer – L1 Location: Remote Experience: 1-3 Years Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Network Engineer (L1) to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for basic network support, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth network operations. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability • Provide first-level support for network-related issues • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity problems • Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls (basic level) • Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams • Maintain network documentation and logs • Assist in network setup and installations • Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures Required Skills: • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) • Understanding of LAN/WAN technologies • Familiarity with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Basic knowledge of network monitoring tools • Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field • Certifications like CCNA (preferred but not mandatory)
